Prevent changing Homepage of Internet Explorer

Microsoft Internet Explorer browser, you must know that the malicious adware and spyware can make change Homepage of your Internet explorer browser.

It is often observed that homepage of browser is changed automatically to some Adware site or Porn site. Especially, in my institution- Its a common problem on all systems to get a homepage similar to Google (fake one) forcing you to install some free smilies or Icons.
Not only spywares but sometimes, you don’t want anyone to change your browser homepage (generally happens on shared PC) But,  This can be prevented by making a permanent solution using registry hacks.

1. Click Start >>Run and type regedit.
2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software /Policies/ Microsoft
3. Create new Key named Control Panel
4. In the right hand pane, right click a blank area and choose New >>DWORD value with Name HomePage
5. Assign Value data 1

If you want to revert the changes you made, then edit the DWORD value 1 to  0
